Hotel guests are welcome to enjoy
the indoor leisure complex. Facilities include
a sauna, sunbed, whirlpool spa and fitness room.
The heated swimming pool is kept at a steady
29° and has an even depth of 1.2 metres
making it safe and practical for all ages and
abilities. The leisure facilities are not manned
which means that all children under the age
of 15 years must be accompanied by a parent
and all users must bear in mind their personal
limitations.
Overlooking the pool is the gym
where you can jog, cycle, row, step or ski on
the various pieces of equipment provided. There
is also a multi gym and a bench press with free
weights, whilst a chilled mineral water dispenser
is available for refreshment.
Quiet and low key, the bar offers
a good range of aperitifs, spirits, beers (bottled
& draught), liqueurs and soft drinks. Steps
lead on to the patio at the front of the hotel
giving lovely southerly views over the gardens
to the moor making this the perfect spot for
a pre-dinner drink or afternoon tea.
The two lounges (one designated
'non-smoking') with their large bay windows,
provide comfortable chairs and sofas for a relaxing
read or game of scrabble whilst French doors
allow these too to link on to the patio.
